Angel and I both worked in the training department of Marine Aircraft Logistical Squadron39 (MALS-39). MALS-39 is a 1000+ Marine Squadron that has an exceedingly high operational tempo. His positive mental attitude and “never stop/don't take no for an answer” work ethic made him a very real asset to the Squadron, and made our department a “one stop shop” filled with consummate professionals.
Angel was more often than not was the first one at work and without exception the last one to leave. His dedication to his duties as a Marine fell a close second only to his commitment as a husband and father. How he was able to balance a challenging work environment and maintain a rock solid relationship are a true testament to his character.
